Desk phones registration

Hi Experts,

 

We are planning to purchase desk phones(Teams edition)  for Teams.

 

1.Is there any pre requasites for desk phone registration like Intune configuration,  VLAN for voice, DHCP option  like in cisco, Any firewall ports to open ,  any other configuration  ?

 

2.What is the bulk phones registration process ?

    Hi Arun,

    Most of the Teams Certified Phones comes with Teams Applications and firmware pre-installed in the IP Phones. There is no specific configuration are required. Only configuration you would have to do is on the Intune to ensure the devices can be registered on the Microsoft Intune Platform.

    No separate VLAN are required. The ports and firewall configuration remains the same as regular Teams Application.

    The Teams Native phone are plug and play devices so even for all the Phones you can register it with the End Users credentials.
