Delete Option not available
I'm trying to delete a message that was mistakenly sent to the announcement channel in teams. There is no option to delete??? Are we not allowed to delete messages in Teams? Thank you for any advice....

The Delete Options needs to be enabled by the Office 365 Admin in the Office 365 Portal. In case that option is not enabled we would not be able to delete the message in the Channel.

I have this same issue. The user accidentally sent an email to the team and it created a new conversation. I have teams set up to allow owners to delete messages I have turned this off and on and there is no option to delete the message that the user sent. Is there any other options for this? is there a powershell process that I can use, as the global administrator, that would allow me to remove the message.?
