Decouple Files Tab from a channel

Hi there

 

Not sure how this has happened but I have 2 channels within a Team Space whereby the Files tab in one channel also appears in the 2nd channel. Is there any way to decouple the tab?

    Traudf01 - each channel creates a blank root folder (named after channel name) in the SharePoint files library associated with the team.  If you click on the "open in SharePoint" link under the files tab you should be able to navigate and see that it's landing in two different folder locations (one for each channel) all under the same Team.  If both channels are brand new, they probably won't have data in them yet - presenting two empty locations when browsing in Teams.

      Thanks for the message. This is what's weird. The 2nd channel does not appear in Sharepoint as a root folder. Any ideas...?
