Yep. https://office365itpros.com/2020/04/06/teams-meeting-background-image/ was updated once the information started floating around the net to tell people about how to upload their custom images for PC and Mac. Note that this is unsupported by Microsoft (but the custom images work).

You can upload your own pictures... TonyRedmond
It might not be so easy for any user -but just open appdata folder and upload picture(s) to
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Upload

I've tried finding that folder and copy-pasting it in but it isn't working for me.
I'm on Mac btw, is there even an option for me?

Adsminor510 try this:
On Macs, the images should be copied to:
/users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Backgrounds/UploadsYou may need to hold down the OPTION key before you choose GO from the Finder Menu to get the Library to appear.

If the View options from the View folder does not display Library folder, under the Go folder (located adjacent to View tab) click "Go to folder" and type Library. If you have no success, type Microsoft and you will reach the required destination Microsoft/Teams/Backgrounds/Uploads. Delete any unwanted image you want to get rid of!
