Creating a meeting with an old link
I was asked to create a series of meetings (not recurring, as they take place once a month but at different times and on different days) using the one link that was used for them for previously sched...
- Unfortunately, this is not possible. The chat history is tied to the meeting. For your chat history to persist across all of your meetings, you would need to schedule the meeting as a recurring one. Question: why could you not just schedule the recurring meeting and then modify each instance to reflect the different date-time? Hope this helps! you can copy the meeting link from the original meeting invite and paste it in each individual meeting invite .. LuciaCanonero this is a workaround but works for me. One disadvantage though is, it will not give a prompt for people that meeting has started. They can join only by clicking on the link within the meeting invite.
I have been following the same method for a while now, as my meetings evolve and new stakeholders join in, the absence of "Join" button on the meeting invite in their calendars, and the lack of prompts on the bottom right corner of their screens when the meeting has sstarted is beginning to compete with the benefits I was getting by retaining the meeting chats and transcripts from one meeting to the other.
