Content Search - Hard Deleted User
With no retention in place, when a user is hard deleted, all mailbox content such as emails, contacts and files are permanently deleted and not discoverable in content search. However, if that same user is hard deleted, their Teams Conversations and Chats remain and are discoverable. How does that work?

For channel conversations, messages are journaled to the group mailbox in Exchange Online, where they're available for eDiscovery
