Contact list no longer available in new Teams version
When new teams go live, can I keep using the old version? The new version only has a chat list and no contact list. I regularly use my contact list to determine if someone is in the office. ...
While they decide to implement a basic function for many you can still click on the three dots in teams next to your photo and there is a button to go back to the old teams.
Until they return the contacts button to the new teams I refuse to use the new one.

adrianromerolopez They're not likely to return the Contacts button. But, good news! Using the People app (which was their stated solution already), they have just updated it to restore the online presence indicator in those contact lists. Hope that helps!
- So they have - just tried it and it's there. However, the mechanism to actually recreate all the groupings and things I have been using in old Teams seems either hidden, really crap or - knowing Micro$haft - both. I'm damned if I can figure out how I go about creating a new grouping in that.
Once again, M$ prove their UI designers do not function in the real world.
Back to old Teams while I can.
