Contact list no longer available in new Teams version
When new teams go live, can I keep using the old version? The new version only has a chat list and no contact list. I regularly use my contact list to determine if someone is in the office. ...
Does anyone know if this is /actually/ on the roadmap? I have half our work-force refusing to use new MSTeams because we can't see a list of contacts with presence.

I don't see anything on the above roadmap related to this issue.
I do see the Teams Admin portal say that New Teams will be the default from March, and will be forced on users at that time. I'm going to have a bunch of very angry people when that happens if this isn't resolved by then.
I feel like this comment section is being ignored, can anyone with a serious user-base and some clout with an MS account manager get some traction?
