Contact list no longer available in new Teams version
When new teams go live, can I keep using the old version? The new version only has a chat list and no contact list. I regularly use my contact list to determine if someone is in the office. ...

In the new Teams, you no longer can access Contacts from Chat. Instead, use the new People app. Pin it to your left navigation pane by selecting the (...) menu, right-click People, and then select Pin.
Contacts menu - This includes Group contacts and Favorite Contacts are no longer available. Calls feature does not includes a list of contacts anymore.

Yes, but it no longer shows the user's status.
- Yet people continuously suggest it, it drives me nuts... it's not the same people, it doesn't solve the desire to have a quick status check mechanism.
