Contact list no longer available in new Teams version
When new teams go live, can I keep using the old version? The new version only has a chat list and no contact list. I regularly use my contact list to determine if someone is in the office. ...

contacts is now available in the People app in teams. This also shows all the data you previously entered so no need to repeat setup.

Yes, but it does not show their status or give you the ability to expand the group in the left pane.

gregc63 Agreed. I'm glad there is still a way to categorize, bit it's the lack of "Status" that troubles me. I can no longer quickly glance in a department (category) to see who's available.
