Contact list no longer available in new Teams version
When new teams go live, can I keep using the old version? The new version only has a chat list and no contact list. I regularly use my contact list to determine if someone is in the office. ...

Dianne_NZ I mainly use Teams because of the Contacts feature, and I keep it as my default view. Without Contacts, I no longer see the reason to use Teams. The features I love are:
- Status visibility
- Adding or deleting contacts to different groups
- Option to notifications when a contact becomes available
- Immediate access to chat or screen sharing with available contacts
This is a very powerful tool that should be enhanced rather than eliminated. If anything, I suggest that Contacts and Chats have their own icons rather than having to toggle between the two.

I agree with you 200%... it was like that a long time ago... another modification that does not make any sense.
