Contact list no longer available in new Teams version
When new teams go live, can I keep using the old version? The new version only has a chat list and no contact list. I regularly use my contact list to determine if someone is in the office. ...
Skotzmun As mentioned above, the People app is the replacement for Contacts in the new Teams client, might not be available to everyone yet but it is coming.
Steven Collier - you'll forgive me if the combination of "Microsoft have randomly removed a usable feature" and "Coming soon from Microsoft to replace..." does not fill me with confidence.

Skotzmun Don't use preview features then if you don't like living with preview limitations.
- Steven Collier - surely the point is to try to use preview features and feed back, whether they are brilliant or a pile of old toss? Currently, it's the latter and my response (including the general ennui at Microsoft's track record of taking a poorly-implemented thing and making it worse) is the feedback.
To be honest I don't quite understand the point you are making as surely this is how this all works: funnily enough I am *not* using preview "features" because the "feature" I need to use day-to-day doesn't exist... there's nothing for me to use.
