Commercial Cloud (User Initiated) license for participant's of online training?
Hello everyone,
we've got Office 365 E3 plan. Due to COVID19 situation we need to organize our classroom training as fully on-line training with possibility of remote control of the participant's computers.
I am aware that participants needs to has MS Teams application installed - it allows on remote controlling.
But what about license? In our plan we have something like unlimited MS Teams Commercial Cloud (User Initiated).
Can we legally share an account (created as this MS Teams Commercial Cloud) with participants for the duration of trainings?
- Yes,
To confirm the commercial cloud trial is for users in your Office 365 tenant only. They should not be given to users outside of your organisation. All you need to do in this situation is set the Team up and then invite them as guests. It may also be worth advising them to sign up for a free Teams account in the process

Hope that answers your question
