China design considerations for Local SBC and Media Packs. LBR and LMO deployments in China

Hi,
1. What are your design consideration and strategy?
Ans. You need to have local SBC at each location within China. LBR would be required for the China locations.
2. How you designed your dial plan for this China local site to route calls to teams’ users in other site in China based on Local SBC and DR SBC (In Singapore)?
Ans. All the calls within China could be routed within the China Teams to Teams users shouldn’t be issue. If the Tenant is same RNL will happen the users will be called using Teams to Teams calls it wouldn’t use the DR at all.
For making International PSTN calls you can use the Local Carriers PSTN that would be something I would recommend.
3. What are consideration to deploy LBR and LMO?
Ans: - LBR with media bypass is mandatory. LMO is something I wouldn’t recommend the same as there are major bugs and issues with the same.

Sharing some inputs and information for all to be helpful in their deployments:
We were in process of planning, design and deployment of solution for China region. Now, as it is successfully deployed and we put cosiderations as needed. Our design is- A local breakout for PSTN calls from local SBC. LMO with media bypass deployment but without LBR as pstn provider didn't have any restrictions in RTP. Remote DR, Remote tenant, Intermin network providers considerations were setup accordingly.
