Channels tab is missing
Hello,
I logged onto my teams app today and I noticed, that the "channels" tab is missing. I can see all channels in my favorites list, but when I search for a team I and click it, it opens the "general" channel and I can't switch to another channel. Is there any possibility to reactivate the tab or at least another way to switch channels, besides opening sharepoint?
- Yeah, the new update to the UI seems to have forgotten to "navigate" you when selecting a Team from the command box now. I haven't found a way to really improve this yet, so hopefully this is something they get fixed soon. Might be a good idea to put in a support request if you have the time.
- Hi!
What “channels” tab are you referring to? Can you explain a little bit what you mean here cause I don’t really get it. Doesn’t teams allow you to select a team and whatever channel within it except the general channel?

When I search for a team in the search bar on top, it opens the general channel. And in this channel, on top, next to the channel name there are tabs "posts", "files", "+" and there used to be a "channels"-tab too, which allowed me to switch between the channels.
And as mentioned before I can still see all the channels on the left side, but since I have more than 100 teams, this isn't really an option.
I hope this made my question a little bit more understandable.
- I’ve heard there was a update from yesterday that changed the navigation experience when you search a team and you end up in the general channel without any ability to switch channel. I’ll look into this further
