Channel invites does not work anymore

Last year I had a weekly meeting where I used a Channel to invite the participants and it worked, the meeting was shown in the Calendars of the invitees.

I have now tried three times to create new recurring meeting and invite the same channel but it will not show in the Calendars of the channel members. What has changed?

Here are the settings:

(Like last year I have not used the "Send personal invites" since the meeting is optional)

Pls advise if this a temporary Team issues or a new "feature".
