Change Teams email address to use it elsewhere?
Months ago our group created a Team – let’s call it Team Name — which automatically reserved the email address teamname@site.xyz. Recently we decided to ask for an external email address for our group...
- Hi! It wont help renaming the team! Deleting will help but you have to remove the group and also from the recycle bin!
You can change the group address and remove the old one via powershell:

You will need to get an admin to do it :).
