Change date or time

I have a lot of one-on-one meetings. I send the invitation link via email.

If the invitee subsequently asks to change the date and/or time I will update the Teams meeting, but do I then have to resend the link by email or not?  The invitee already knows the new date or time. Is the old link still valid or does Teams generate a new one?  NB - there is only one invitee.
