Can't verify my account

I need access to my old gaming e-mail. The password is correct, however I need to verify the account. Most likely because I haven't used it for a long time or it has been compromised. I changed my phone number two years ago so receiving a code won't work. I can also send a code to my gmail account, but that doesn't work either. I never get anything to my gmail. I've been trying to call the support, but I always get disconnected or put on hold. What do I do? I need that account.
