can't join a team/group I was added to
Hi, I am in a team (for an online class), and the host create sub-teams/subgroups to divide students into small groups. But when I click on the invite link I received by email, I ended up in the original whole class group. It did not take me to join the sub group I was added to. Had asked the host and other member in the subgroup to add me again but not working.
After several trying to add me again, there was error note that I/my email was invited recently already and it is to wait to the next day to send invite again.
Next day still the same problem, I alway end up at the big group when clicked on the invite in email
What should I do?
I am using Team for Mac both web and desktop version.

Not sure if this solution will address your issue as per my understanding here is a quick solution to the same.
1. Create a Team will all the Users say 10 Users
2. Within the Team create Private Team and add 5 Users to One Private Team and 5 Users ti Second Private Team.
3. Each Private Team has their own Email Address. Or in short sense each channel has their own Email Address. So you can set the meeting invite to the channel accordingly notifying all the users for the meeting.
