can't find option for full screen after update
I was only able to test this when I was sharing my Screen so I cannot attest to what I see right now currently as no one has shared their screens with me recently. So, I got a True Full Screen when I shared my screen.
There is a Full Screen option that is listed in the More Options which is represented by an elipsis (...) on the Control Bar at the top of the Teams Window. One of the pop up options when you click on the More Options is an option for Full Screen. But again I use the Teams App and not a Browser Session.

From your posting to me 'I have "Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.28557 (64-bit) It was last updated on 08/11/2023". This is the desktop app.' It states your last update was as you see it in your quote. So to me it looks like your last update was showing in mm/dd/yyyy date format so your update appeared to be an old one.
But glad you found the location.
By the way once you are on Full Screen you should be able to toggle back and forth from Full Screen and No Full Screen by using the F11 program key on your keyboard. Which I usually manage to get to from just clicking on the Max Windows size Icon next to the 'Close X' button in the upper right corner of the Windows Title Bar first and then the F11 program key toggling feature becomes available.

I was forced to use a Personal Account now and so probably do not have the same functionality you have. Also, I just got an update the past day or so, therefore, I may be on a much more current version than you state.
However, I find 'Focus on content' under View and I find Full Screen under View>More options>Full Screen.
This is one thing I don't like about Teams. Microsoft keeps moving various settings around and you find them in different locations. Did you try the Help Option you show in your screen print above. You might have been able to find out where these options were if you checked there as well. - Jim_B175Jun 24, 2022Brass ContributorIt is not strictly speaking the 'Browser Version'. It is a Browser Session. Meaning when you click on a meeting link, you are given the option (usually) of selecting a Browser Session or using the Teams App. Once you select, at least, the Teams App, it seems that will always be the default which you probably would want as the Teams App has better functionality.

:Full screen" is _directly_ on the menu brought up by the "...", right near "focus". But this leaves a control bar active. I will have to look for "more options" the next time someone is sharing their screen with me.
