can't find option for full screen after update
Microsoft did mention this in the Message Centre Post about the new Meeting Experience
Know limitations:
Meeting notes will launch to the main Teams client
Support for full screen content viewing will be coming in the future
Support for Invision Freehand Whiteboard will be coming in the future
So it will be coming in the future.
Like with many things the decision to ship without it will have been agonized over, say it would take another 3 months to build Full Screen into the new experience, would you rather not have pop out meetings for 3 months while waiting? You can always turn off the new experience for the next 2 months and stay with the existing Full Screen option.
If you want to tell them why it's important that this is sooner rather than later I would recommend doing so through UserVoice https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/
StevenC365 How do I turn it off so I can get fullscreen back?

Please go to - Profile -> Settings -> General -> Under Application -> Disable [Turn ON new meeting experience] -> Restart Teams.
You can view the meetings in full screen.
- gibby_homeOct 19, 2021Brass ContributorThank you but I don't have that option under my applications on my Teams and I wonder is there a way of turning this off on a Microsoft teams room ?
- rmhartmanOct 19, 2021Copper ContributorGeez. Had to go back to page 1 ... the "disable new meeting experience" setting went away a long time ago.

Hello, trying to use your orientation
"Please go to - Profile -> Settings -> General -> Under Application -> Disable [Turn ON new meeting experience] -> Restart Teams. "
But as I am not so experienced user, can you help me telling where do I find "Profile"?, in excel? Which menu or Sub-menu?
Thanks
Eric

Sorry that option to disable was recently removed. The Option doesn't even appear as it used to. Now all you have is the New Meeting Experience which isn't even identified by an Option.

harsha275 Thank you for the workaround. I am excited to test it out on my next call.
This is the most obscene degrade/feature removal in a program update I can currenty remember. We at our company ALWAYS instantly go full-screen so we can see actually read what's on the user's screen. The most recent update has made this software embarrassing for the callers and nearly unusable. There's so many embarrassing moments where we have to admit to the other caller that we cannot read the text on their screen as they are trying to elaborate on what it says.
I have no idea what "features" were even added in this most recent update. All I care to be able to do is chat, call, and share screens with other users in full screen mode. What is this focus/gallery nonsense? In "Focus mode", the screen is still way too cramped and the text on the other caller's screen is nearly illegible. This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. Why would you remove a feature in a product upgrade? How does that make sense?
