Can't add members to private channels
After creating a team and adding private channels, I can't add members to private channels consistently. Sometimes I can; sometimes I can't. Also having issues adding guests to teams.

Whilst the workarounds for this issue are
1.) To add via the mobile app (IoS/Android)
2.) Completely remove and re-add user to the team
It does look like a bug. I have raised it here

I have also raised it internally with the Microsoft engineering team. Hopefully they will verify and fix soon

I just created a team (public) from scratch and added private channel to it. When I tried to add guest to the channel it returned "We didn't find any matches". I then added the guest to the team first and then to the private channel and it worked fine. Can you help understand if your scenario is any different ?
I created the main Team under which my private channel resides. I can add the members to the main Team, but when I go to the ... next to the private channel, there is no option to add members.
- On Android Teams when I open Channel - I have option "Manage members" and there I can add Guest users.
- So you are the owner of the team still you dont see option to add member to the private channel under that team ? Was the private channel created by another owner ?
