Hello, I suggest you use Incognito mode to check if you get any cookies issue that leads to that.
Click on the dots next to the team and then delete it.

Hi, I tried using incognito (and also a new browser) still getting the same message: "
You're missing out! Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams.
You're currently signed in as ahmed.samir@asset-industrial.com
Select Sign up for Teams to continue, or use a different account."
Please note that my email address in not hosted on Microsoft, and that I only want to access Teams. I am getting through in Andriod App, but not on laptop. I cleared cash and cookies, still no good. I guess this needs intervention from the Microsoft Teams support experts as I think something got screwed while I was setting the account. My colleague on the same domain registered with no issues.
