Cannot sign in in teams app - activating sign in with Hello seems to be mandatory

I use several teams accounts.

Today I cannot sign in. It looks like MS wants me to activate an Hello sign-in and use that to get into teams.

If I cancel this step the Teams app says:  cannot sign in due to issues, please restart or sign out and sign in again

What should I do? 

I already did the restart and sign out/in. Restarted the PC and re installed the teams app
