Cannot reinstall Microsoft Teams

I have been looking for a solution to this problem and I've tried almost every possible solution available on the internet from deleting the folders to clearing registries etc.
The only resolution I found was to copy these three folders Teams, TeamsMeetingAddin and TeamsPresenceAddin from someone who has a working Teams Desktop application (in my case I needed it from a Windows user) and paste it in the given location. C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft. 
I tried this solution because I saw an error related to this location in my SquirrelSetup logs.
