You have the scheduling assistant exposed in the meeting creation dialog though, same as with Outlook, so you can check the availability of any (internal and federated) recipients there.
The calendar tab in Teams will only show you your own calendars! You can try add the path to others in a website tab. This one will be listed in the channel for every member to see though! Although they can’t access it without proper logins.
