    Both of my macs reported in "machdep.cpu.features" only AVX1.0. I executed this command

      sysctl - a | grep avx

    On one mac (blur disabled) I got

      hw.optional.avx1_0: 1
      hw.optional.avx2_0: 0

     

    On another mac (blur enabled) I got

      hw.optional.avx1_0: 1
      hw.optional.avx2_0: 1

MontyPyspockwhat version do you use? I have 1.3.00.9271 (5.5.2020). Does not seem to work on my MBP, mid2012.

Same here. I have 1.3.00.9271. Does not seem to work on my MBP (early 2013), nor do I see the option to do so from the "...".
