Blocking a domain
Hello,
My company has a big meeting coming up that is just for the company. However someone has sent the invite over to an external company which they were not meant to do. Is there a way of blocking a certain domain from joining the meeting?
Thanks.
Hi LukePoulton,
you can block a certain domain from joining a Microsoft Teams meeting. Here are the steps you can follow:
1. Go to the Teams admin center.
2. Navigate to Users > External access.
3. Choose “Block only specific external domains”.
4. Click on ”Add external domain".
5. In the Domain box, type the domain that you want to block and then click “Done”.
6. If you want to block another domain, click “Add a domain”.
7. Click "Save".
Please note that these changes will apply to all meetings and not just the one in question. If you want to allow the domain to join future meetings, you will need to remove it from the blocked domains list1
