Automatically save photos from chats
This seems trivial, but I haven't been able to find a solution. I want pictures from a chat to be accessible. Ideally, this would be saved to a folder on Sharepoint or even somewhere in Teams, but th...

Regards the images see here -
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/location-of-data-in-teams
Media used in chats (except for Giphy GIFs which aren't stored but are a reference link to the original Giphy service URL, Giphy is a non-Microsoft service) is stored in an Azure-based media service that is deployed to the same locations as the chat service.
Images are not accessible in the way you need - that is by design and for compliance reasons - it is the same with accessing chat which is also stored in an inaccessible part of the mailbox
Regarding photos saving to the camera roll on the IPhone, there is a uservoice here which I would recommend to vote on

Whatsapp does this. I think some people would like at least the option to do it

- Morsey79Jul 06, 2023Copper ContributorThis could be related to a policy that was created in either MDM or MAM policy. I feel like this has been linked to blocking Restrict cut, copy, and paste between other apps in app protection policy
