Assignments Due notifications

Good morning - is there a way that my students can receive notifications on when their assignments are due. During this lockdown period, some students are overwhelmed and have asked for support in organising themselves better. I said i would look into whether Teams has the function of sending a reminder when an assignment is due (without having to open each Team in the assignments tab). Thank you.
