Are you selecting Make the SharePoint site read-only for team member? Note that if you are the owner you'll still be able to make edits in the site

but the synchronised files in Windows Explorer are still editable, i can change there and manipulate files and this changes are then synchronised back to my channel. why? does not make any sense to me...- Apr 23, 2024Are you the Team Owner?

AndresGorzelany my sincere apology, u are right, i was owner of the channel
now i added an additional user as "member". retried the whole thing and yes u are right, a member is not able to change anything, there is a lock symbol in windows explorer and thats it
