Apps That Talk With Excel

Good day all, 

 

I am wondering if anyone knows of a Teams app that will interface with Excel and (only hold data in Excel). In my little dream I was hoping to have team members populate an excel database via an app that would be more like a form. My hope would that it would be more of an interactive process where I could add hints, and flag errors or empty required cells all without having the team open the actual excel database. 

 

Thoughts? Options? Suggestions?

      adam deltinger  thanks for the quick reply. I may go that route but I am concerned about budget approvals etc for that to happen. Don't think I currently have access. 

       

      Still, I may develop something on a free trial and propose it as a solution.
