Approval Template Management - Make File Attachment Optional
Hello folks,
While creating an a new Teams Approval Template, is there any possibility to make the File attachment optional ?
As of now, it has only 1 switch: either Required or not (see capture 1), however in the Default Approval Template, the attachments are optional (see capture 2), hence wondering how it can be done.

Agreed. File Attachments need to have an Optional feature applied for all forms instead of being required. I too am in the process of creating a custom Request Form in Teams. Sometimes a request may have reference images, sometimes it won't. But I don't want to make file attachments required. We should be able to add File Attachments to a form without making it required.
When creating a Basic approval request, the optional attachment feature is there by default. The Approvals app is built on MS Forms which has an attachment option so it seems like an obvious inclusion and simple update. Why is the attachment option applied to the basic/default approval request but missing from the CUSTOM option. Struggling to understand this missing feature for custom templates and why this hasn't been resolved.

- I have the same problem. This seems to be a basic feature but still not available. I wonder how we can implement Approval Templates with optional attachments in the form.
