Jul 26, 2019App policies - how long until in effect?
Yesterday I was happy to see that besides the already existing option to create app setup policies the new permission polcies option has appeared in our Teams admin center:
I've created a test policy for both but today, almost 24hrs later I was not able to see the changes with my test user.
So I wanted to ask you how long it takes for you until the policies are in effect.
Thanks.

Have you tried it with Powershell after creating the policy in the TAC? See article
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/teams-app-setup-policies
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/skype/grant-csteamsappsetuppolicy?view=skype-ps
It would be using both the Grant-CsTeamsAppSetupPolicy and Grant-CsTeamsAppPermissionPolicy with the powershell reference in the first article.
We have previously seen things take 24 - 48 hours if implemented via the TAC. Creation of Teams springs to mind.
Let me know how you get on.
Best, Chris

Hi ChrisHoardMVP, thanks for your help. I executed those commands. Let's see how long it takes to apply them. I noticed that for one user a app setup policy that was applied about 30 hours ago via the TAC became effective but not for others. I think we can stop here.
Thanks.
- Hi Deleted,
Just checking in - did those policies apply with Powershell?
