Android phone stuck in login loop for account with previous organisation
SOLVED: Ultimate solution for me was to remove Microsoft Authenticator app from my phone. But I did all of the following:
1. Make sure you have 2-step (multifactor) authentication enabled before uninstalling the authenticator app.
2. Prior to Uninstall of each app stop the app and clear the data then uninstall all microsoft apps:
a. Outlook
b. Teams
c. Microsoft Authenticator
d. Company Portal
3. Reboot
4. Install outlook and add account, which forced me to reinstall Company Portal and SMS authenticate myself.
5. Reboot
6. Install Teams and add account.
Essentially I am not using the Authenticator app, hope this helps someone.
- Chrissie1212Aug 19, 2022Copper ContributorI just forced Authenticator to stop and uninstalled. Then forced Teams to stop and opened. Voila, I'm in. Now to start complaining about all the Teams work notifications.

This is happening to me, but after clearing all the app data, removing all of the microsoft apps, then reinstalling them all, the issue comes back within a few days. I dont have the authenticator so thats not the issue...
I was having this problem on my Fold 4 and now i have a Pixel 7 Pro and its happening on both.

PMad99 I had this problem today ie it was stuck in the loop for a previous teams account. I fixed it
a) closing app (not uninstalling);
b) Go to device: settings, App, storage and clearing both data and cache. This clears all accounts on device.
c) open Teams App and it then takes you through a set up of accounts. I then set up my two active accounts. All the previous messages etc were still there.
