Android Microsoft Teams High CPU Usage

Hi,

When i perform remote meeting with Android app Microsoft Teams in long run testing, within 5 minutes my device have started hotter and the CPU usage sometimes can go up to 100%. After running with longer times, the devices is getting hotter and CPU usage still remain high even i try stop and start the Microsoft Teams app again. Is anyone know how do we prevent the Microsoft teams use up 100% CPU usage in android in long run?
I have try to clear the cache with these paths but it seems doesn't help
1) adb shell su -c "rm -rf /data/data/com.microsoft.teams/cache/*"
2) adb shell su -c "rm -rf /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.microsoft.teams/*"

    Hi foowc92,

Here are some tips to help you with high CPU usage and overheating on your Android device during long Microsoft Teams:

    1. Update Teams: Ensure you're using the latest version from the Google Play Store.

    2. Check Device Compatibility: Make sure your device meets Teams' requirements.

    3. Stable Network: A strong, stable internet connection is crucial for smooth meetings.

    4. Close Background Apps: Close or disable other apps running in the background.

    5. Adjust Video Quality: Lower video quality settings in Teams to reduce CPU load.

    6. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can help.

    7. App Updates: If issues started after an update, you may revert to a previous version.

    8. Web Version: Try using Teams in your web browser as a workaround.

Remember, the specifics can vary based on your device and app version. If problems persist, report the issue to Microsoft Teams support with as much detail as possible.
