Adding external user(Gmail account) problems

Hello all,

 

So I've been trying to add a new guest in a Team (using the desktop application since web isn't working for me) and I've a funny situation:

 

This is the external email account that I want do add: ***apple.*********@gmail.com (i'm going to blur or hide some data to protect the user information).

 

When I try to add it I got the following error:

 

If I try to insert similar emails (or even my personal gmail account) I don't have any problems (and it's the same TEAM):

 

What I'm seeing is if I have the word Apple on the email account I'm not able to add the account. 

 

Is that the problem?

    I don't think it is going to be the word apple.  I just tried adding an email account with the word apple in it as a guest to my own Teams test environment.  It had no problem.  Admittedly, it was not a genuine email account though.  Just a made up one.

     

    If you like, you can PM me the email address (if you are able to) and I'll try adding it to see what happens?
