Now there's a proper description. Yes, it can be done in a channel post, but only for those that you have started by selecting the three ... and "Edit".
ChristianJBergstrom The 'subject' field can be added after a post has been posted, but only to the FIRST post in the thread, and usually only by the author of that post, unless Teams allows editing by others.
