Add more options for background
Hi kyinterface ,
If your Microsoft Teams shows nothing in the background selection, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Update Microsoft Teams: Ensure that you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams installed on your computer. Updates often include bug fixes and new features, so updating the application might help resolve the problem.
2. Check your system requirements: Verify that your computer meets the system requirements for using background effects in Microsoft Teams. Make sure your operating system is supported and that your hardware meets the necessary specifications.
3. Verify your Teams account settings: Check if the background effects feature is enabled for your account. In Microsoft Teams, click on your profile picture at the top right corner and select "Settings." In the settings menu, go to the "Permissions" tab and make sure the "Background effects" option is enabled.
4. Restart Microsoft Teams: Sometimes, restarting the application can resolve temporary glitches or issues. Close Microsoft Teams completely and then relaunch it to see if the background options appear.
5. Clear cache and app data: Clearing the cache and app data of Microsoft Teams can help fix various issues. Go to the settings of your Teams application, find the cache and app data options, and clear them. Afterward, relaunch Teams and check if the background options are available.
6. Try a different device or account: If possible, try using Microsoft Teams on a different device or with a different account. This can help determine if the issue is specific to your current device or account.
7. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of the above solutions work, it's recommended to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can provide you with specific troubleshooting steps and help resolve any underlying issues with your Teams application.
Remember that the availability of background options can vary depending on factors such as your region, subscription plan, and the version of Microsoft Teams you are using. It's also possible that your organization has disabled certain features, including custom backgrounds.
