Add mail integration to Teams

Question

Currently in Teams there is a Calendar button which is great for me to be able to get to my meetings right from the tool. To help make this my main work space so that I can chat, view my schedule and view me emails would be to add a mail button as well so that I can deal with any of my emails throughout the day.

I suppose Outlook will die if Microsoft adds a native Mail tab in Teams.
