Accessing Spreadsheet in Teams for Mail Merge

Hi. Is there a way to connect to a spreadsheet that is stored in a Teams folder from Word so it can be used a mail merge list? I can copy the link to the file (either through Teams or Sharepoint), but I cannot find a way to use that link to point to the spreadsheet as the mail merge list.
