Able to Connect to Teams After VPN Disconnection

Generally I connect to Microsoft Teams through VPN, however when disconnecting from VPN I'm still able to connect over wifi for example for up to an hour, this is not desired behavior, I'm working if this has to do with access/refresh tokens and if I can modify AccessTokenLifetime and what the impact would be - i shouldn't be able to access teams after disconnecting from my vpn
