Using comma as separator in Forms
I live in The Netherlands and we use a comma as a decimal separator. However when I use Microsoft Forms it doesn't accept the comma, it removes it. See below.
Both Windows and Google Chrome have the right regional settings, namely Dutch.
The strange thing is that when I do the same in a Sharepoint list, it works correct. So the problem seems to be with Microsoft Forms.
Any ideas anyone?
ps I have also set the primary language to Dutch.

We're still having this problem in 2025.
Screenshot from phone with numerical keyboard
I had a user now report that he can't accurately report numbers on a form using his phone.
The phone provides a numerical keyboard for number fields and this keyboard only has a comma, no dot.
As the field does not accept this separator it is ignored. If the users are in hurry and don't register the missing separator the submitted data can be off orders of magnitude.I hope Microsoft can see fit to fix this.

I'm still having this issue in late 2025.

When using users fill in a form on a phone with local language the number fields show a numeric keyboard with only the comma that will not be entered in when pressed. This means that users submitting a form using their phone cannot report accurate numbers.

RHCPNG Any update on this ?

RaphaelGagnon Nope, not that I know of.
- RHCPNGCopper ContributorNo, I've been in contact with Microsoft Support and it is default behavior and on purpose. So there is no solution. You have to use a dot as separator.
