Jul 20, 2023Microsoft Forms doesn't support multi-tenant and they will be treated as different tenants. If the form is set to 'Only people in my organization can respond,' Company 2's user cannot submit the response for the form from Company 1 tenant.

Sadly, over a year on it looks like this is still the case 😞
I have just set up a multi tenant collaboration and synced the users. I have a Form in the Parent Tenant (A), which is set so that "Only people in A can respond" (as I don't really want to make it open access, and it's convenient to automatically collect the name and email address of each responder). I'd hoped that would extend acces to the form to the external users in A that are being synced in from the Child Tenant (B), but users from B can't access the Form via the URL. All users are appropriately licenced in their "home" tenants (and it seems you can no apply licences to the EXT accounts).
So close and yet so far 😞
