Unable to edit font or font color in Forms
- Nov 09, 2024
Currently, Microsoft Forms does not allow users to change the font type, size, or color directly. You can use themes, embed the form in a webpage for more styling options, or consider using more advanced tools like Power Apps if customization is a priority
You can change the theme of your form, which allows you to pick different colors and backgrounds.
Go to the top right of the form builder, click on "Theme".
Choose one of the existing themes or upload a custom background image to add a personal touch.
If you need more control over the fonts, you can embed the form on a webpage.
Use an HTML page or SharePoint page, where you can style the surrounding content using CSS to make the form match your desired look.
Microsoft Forms has basic design capabilities, and if you need more customization, consider using other Microsoft tools like Power Apps or external survey tools like SurveyMonkey or Typeform, which offer more flexible design and styling options
If you really need to emphasize certain text, you can try using Unicode characters or symbols to make the text stand out more (e.g., arrows, stars, etc.).
For example: ★ Important Question ★.
If it's important to have specific fonts and styles, consider creating a form using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint where you have complete control over text formatting.
Then, distribute the form by sharing the document or converting it to a PDF

Thank you! I was coming to terms that this was not possible. I do think it is something that needs to be added a feature in the future.
