SUCCESSOR TO INFOPATH

I am looking for an alternative to InfoPath.  Microsoft Forms seems to be a misleading name as it is more a "Microsoft Survey".  By the name, I thought this was an application where I would be able to auto-populate, attach docs, connect to SharePoint lists, etc...not the case.

Again, new to the community.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Has anyone come across any actual direction on how to create an InfoPath-like form in power apps?  Everything I've been able to find, including the videos linked below, comes across as a sales pitch on how wonderful Power Apps is.  While it seems great for thumb-typing, gadget twiddlers that only have a couple of characters to enter here and there.  It really seems to fall short for folks that have to write, fill out reports and things like that.

    Thanks!

RaMck2020 when I started developing Power Apps forms, audit reports, databases and apps for my company 2 years ago I found the videos on YouTube from Shane Young very helpful. I still do, he's a great teacher. One to get you going with Power Apps forms is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT4gGVunU0o but there are many many others. Laura Rogers also does good Power Apps videos on YouTube.

Another place to get resources, help and learn new things is the Power Apps forum at https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Forums/ct-p/PA_Comm_Forums (this Successor to InfoPath thread where we are now is in the Forms forum which is of course a different Office 365 app).

chudson002 the successor to InfoPath is Power Apps. A Power App can either be a customised form for a SharePoint list or a standalone app connected to SharePoint and/or other data sources. https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/build-powerapps/
