Responses include an apostrophe

Im trying to create a form where I can input a various range of numbers with 2 questions. The first question has the lower limit and the second has the upper limit. When I look at the excel document of responses each number entry has an apostrophe in front of it making it difficult to sort though chronologically. Is there a way for me to disable the apostrophe? If not is there an easy way for me to remove the apostrophes? I've already tried using ctrl+f and replacing all apostrophes with a space, and that doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
