Hi John,
Is there an update here? I understand that Microsoft have a policy which automatically deletes any MS Form where the ORIGINAL creator has been disabled in AAD, irrespective of how many other staff the creator shared it with.
This poses significant issues for organisations that develop business processes around these forms. It is a flawed policy seems rather unnecessary - ie. why delete something that is active? The equivalent is if a person creates an 'IT User Access request' form in Microsoft Word > sets up an end-to-end onboarding process > leaves the company shortly after > and, 'BOOM', the Word document is deleted without any recourse.
The request from anukap would provide the IT department to have a concise list of ALL active Microsoft Form instances, and enable proactive decisions to save the form under a persistant account, or advise the stakeholders of a better option (MS Forms isn't always best suited to the requirement).
I doubt there would be any customer that wouldn't benefit from providing such a report. Additional columns such as 'form name', 'creator name', 'owner name(s)' and 'last modified date' would also be beneficial.
Thanks.

Microsoft Madness as others have commented in this thread it would appear recently, they have got very high on AI. I don't think copilot is selling very well, I certainly haven't found 1 compelling reason to purchase it for my Tennant. Come on MS pull your socks up and fix this mess. Until a user presented me with this problem about a broken link to a Form created by an Ex Employee and now reading your comment; I didn't realise this issue existed. Surely when MS first created their Forms solution and made it accessible to all users in Tennant this would have been one of the first things they thought of. But NO. they seem to have rushed out a half-baked product, I think I saw votes for Global admins having access to all forms going back to 2017 and its now September 2024, MS obviously has its head buried in the sand or doesn't care at all about this issue.

Chris_Cramp Agreed. This should be an easy issue to fix! Especially to turn on this feature for someone with ADMIN rights so that when a resource is departed, an organization can AVOID losing forms they've created!
Apparently, MS doesn't have employees who leave the company...they're all AI bots who work 24/7/365...
