I am having a similar issue but mine is with a MS Forms --> MS Planner Task.  If I enter 8/7/2020 as the date on the Form, Power Automate passes it to Planner as 8/6/2020.  

 

I tried your convert time zone step but now I'm getting an error:  The request is invalid:
Cannot convert the literal '2020-08-06T20:00:00' to the expected type 'Edm.DateTimeOffset'.

 

Any assistance is appreciated.
